So, I just returned from watching Mamma Mia by myself and.....not bad! Of course, I'm not really a true ABBA fan, so I couldn't anticipate any songs. I was proud of myself for knowing "Dancing Queen." I'm still humming it. It was nice to see Meryl Streep let her hair down and show her more fun side. It made me want to stand up in my seat and start dancing and singing.
I liked the fact that it was a musical. I absolutely love musicals and it makes me wonder why I was not a performing arts major in college. I guess that's something I'll have to continue to question. In the meantime, I'll just continue to enjoy seeing musicals and live theatre.
